Ms. Rivas has over 13 years of experience in the field of licensed clinical social work having a multilingual and dual language background. She has worked in a diverse range of settings for example, with LGBTQ+ individuals, people with substance abuse problems and survivors of sexual assault, and with partners who have been victimized. Ms. Rivas serves Erie Patients from the year 2019. She is currently offering telehealth Behavioral Health services. Ms. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal Team working with pre and postpartum women. She is a specialist in trauma-informed healthcare and provides the EMDR therapy to adults. She provides individual and group therapy as well as the medication-assisted treatment program. Referrals for special care are also provided. Amanda is a Best Friends Animal Society volunteer and assists in the search for an appropriate home for homeless animals. Amanda is a firm believer in Best Friends' slogan, Save Them Everyone and is determined to help make Los Angeles become a no kill city.
